Bansko lift pass prices 2026/27 and where to buy

Updated October 2026 · Written by Ivan from Avantgarde Ski. I was born and raised in Bansko; my father was part of the first private ski school and rental shop in Bansko, so I’ve watched people buy lift passes here all my life.

The resort hasn’t published 2026/27 day-pass prices yet (October 2026). Any site that shows them now is showing old prices. Last season an adult paid €59 for one day and €341 for six in high season; prices usually go up by a few euros a season. Buy your pass the evening before your first ski day, or you will queue twice in the morning: once for the pass, once for the gondola.

Where do you buy a lift pass in Bansko?

Only from the resort’s official sellers. The numbers match the map below.

  1. The main ticket office in the gondola building: 5 cash desks. This is where the morning queue is.
  2. 2 cash desks at the rental centre to the right of the gondola (looking up the mountain). Often shorter.
  3. The Sport Hotel has its own pass desk. Some hotels sell passes, which is a way to skip the queue.
  4. The Guinness Hotel also sells passes.
  5. Pass machines right by the gondola, on the car-park side. Not always reliable, but worth a try when the desks are busy.

Is a half-day pass worth it?

Rarely. The half-day pass starts at 12:30 and last season cost €46 against €59 for a full day, so you save little. It makes sense on your arrival day, if you get to the slopes after lunch.

Lift passes are not included in ski rental; you buy them separately from the resort. Here’s a 6-day week using last season’s pass prices and our 2026/27 rental prices (booked and paid online, 15% off; helmet and overnight storage included):
